Hi, I’m called Seadance, because I love to dance. I spend a lot of my time off the coast of Kaikoura. I’m a bit of a show-off and like to leap and dive around the boats when you humans come out to visit us. There’s lots of other dolphins in this area as well, including Dusky Dolphins and the world’s largest toothed whale, the Sperm Whale. I’m one of the smallest dolphins in the world so I tend to keep my distance when the whales are around. I also keep my distance from fishing nets – two of my friends were recently killed in set nets.
